The one about sky flowers

Safiin forgets that he's tired..

wah woke up super early this morning lar...
only for it to be raining...
haiz... that umbrella din help at all.
cause i still end up wet.
oh and seriously
i think there should be like a lane by the side
for SLOW MOVING PPL..
gosh.. i'm a singaporean afterall
and its jus OUR pace to be rushing everywhere..
so if yuo're not, MOVE ASIDE!
esp in the morning.
some aunties occupy an entire area
only to walk ever so slowly..
cant you just move a lil more to your left or right
so that other ppl can pass by?

lunched at Mc
cause the kebab shop, no seats left :(
as substitute, me ate the foldover. haha

then went swimming.
managed to swim 16 lapz before it started to rain.
yippie!

then.. had initially planned to go blue diamond for briyani..
but somehow.. the idea of seeing skyflowers
made us totally forget all about it..
train-ed to cityhall n gosh..
super crowded again.
marina's steps were totally packed.
and we managed to make our way to esplanade
in time for the fireworks..
or so we tot.
2030hrs.. the entire place was full.
2045hrs.. nothing. just feeling the heat from the crowd.
2100hrs.. still nothing. very hot but thankfully there's wind.
2115hrs.. floodlights turned off.. 'moving' lights turned on. for a moment we tot they'd flash the autobots logo "calling all autobots..." or the batman sign perhaps?? haha
this was followed by remotecontrolledflying objects...
then finally the much awaited moment..
THE FIREWORKS!!
soo beautiful larr..
everyone was in awe..
huge ones.. small ones.. high ones.. low ones.. heartshaped ones.. colourful ones...
oh so many...
there was even one that shot sooo close to us..
we could actually see the sparks fell thru the tree's branches larr..
it lasted a gd 15mins? if me not wrong.
by then the entire area was covered with smokee.. haha

walked back to marina for dinnerrr.
but it was either full everywhere
or closing.
ended up train-ing back to jurong..
for mcD again.
we were sooo hungry that we werent really hungry anymore.
