with my mom these past few days..

mom: woahh.. see the workmanship so good. its really nice
me: she made it herself?
mom: yeap. clever and can sew oso. see next time when you're looking for a wife, make sure she can do housework! clever, can clean & can cook.
me: hmm.. you look for one for me la.
mom: ahh.. wait la.. i'll find for you (sarcasm)
me: hahaha.. wait la..(sarcasm) wait til i'm 27
mom: why?
me: cause i don wanna be married earlier than that. i wanna travel first!
mom: get married already, cannot travel? then how'd you travel ard with us all these yrs? ok la.. next time no need to bring you along.
me: ehh... married already, different dynamics wat. as compared to going with frens and all...

me: ma! lets go into gucci!!
(hee.. in an attempt to mabbe get a gucci wallet FREE!!)
mom: for wat?
me: can look for your handbags wat..
mom: nah.. gucci got lods of unhalal bags
me: !!! but they do have a number of bags made of calf leather you know...

how'd she know of gucci having lods of unhalalised pdts?
and how'd she use the word UNHALAL in the first place??
i mean.. i've never whined to her using the word UNHALAL!

watching some cooking show on suria
and the guest, rima melati,
instead of helping the chef fry the food,
she moved away from the stove.
mom: hahaha.. she's scared! must have not done any cooking and housework.
me: hahaha.. she's funny.
mom: yalah.. wats the point of showing up at a cooking show if you cant cook!
me: hahaha
mom: see.. next time your wife better knows how to cook
me: you teach her how to cook your style of food lar..
mom: there's no point in me teaching if she's not interested in cooking in the first place.
me: hahahaha.. make her be interested!
mom: not my prob. you're the one who won get to eat. hahaha
