The one about sleepless weekends

Safiin is tired/sleepy/hyper/happy

..of rach's b'day
so we finally celebrated her b'day
met everyone at bugis first
and rach picked us up
to go to samar.
had quite a lot to eat
with all the laughings
as usual.
we ordered 5 main dishes
and we all tucked into all 5.
so you see hands
going all over the place.
by the end of it all..
we were still hungry.
tot of sheeshaing
but ahwei had to rush home
cause he's got a 7am class later
which he's not prepared for.
so we decided to send him home
then slack at the coffeeshop
just beside his place.
that way he can slack with us
whilst going thru his materials.
but we discovered we werent hungry anymore
when we reach the place.
but rach felt like eating
the mee goreng.
we all bought teh pengs.
and ah wei ordered murtabaks.
n damn it was HUGE la..
we cant finish'em.
so got them to pack it.
the uncles there very weird
and unfriendly.

..of friday's prac
oh supposed to have a swim.
but mom asked me to acc me to IMM
to collect something.
so din have the time liaoz.

shouldn't have come.

but me and rach managed
to have some prac
and we left the place early.

tee picked me up from clementi.
realised that yanti's kid bro
aint that small anymore.

anyways, we went to samar.
and got the seats infront of the screen
as i've reserved the night before.
huzai came much later.
the place was soo packed then.
ppl standing by the road
to watch the match.

the match was fun la..
with the argentine's play acting and all
ahahaha..
quite a alot of argentina fans there.
i was rooting for the deutsch.
ballack did some acting as well.
must have been preparing himself
to play with the english champions.
tina kept saying the ref kelong.
hahaha.. oh well
went to extra time
and finally to penaty shootouts.
germany won.
yaay.
lehmann got the correct side
all the time sia.
din get to see the brawl though.
typical starhub to cut abruptly
right after the match.

tee asked me to drive after the match.
hahaha..
so drove east to pasir ris
to send huzai home after the match at 2.
then send tee home
followed by yantee and her bro.
tee asked me to keep the car with me.

reached home just in time
for the italy ukraine match.
expected results.
kinda fell asleep awhile.
hahaha
and toni finally scored.

picked the rest of them up
after subuh.
yeap back to pasir ris.
hahahahaha

checkpoint was pretty clear.
good.
had breakfast at singgah slalu.
just drinks for me.
then we were gonna go to larkin.
when i kinda took the wrong turn
and we end up going to tebrau city first.
turns out we really got nothing to do.
so just zombied ard.
had my haircut.
more zombieing ard.
got tricked into thinking
we're gonna ktv.
hahaha
then lunched at secrect recipe.
had the tomyam.
everyone said its spicy.
tee cant even finish hers
after the coughing incident.
but i managed to drink the soup.
hehehe...

then we drove down to larkin.
all not knowing the way
we consulted the map.
and managed to navigate our way there.
they sent their materials..
and we're off to kotaraya next.

they went to avon.
then drove over to citysq.
just walk ard a lil.
went to secrect recipe to tapau cakes
before heading home.



..of england vs portugal
managed to sleep for an hour
before the match started.
so.. england cont'd their boring play.
rooney was..
i must say aint that much of a threat
to the portugese..
as hailed by the english.

the whole red card incident
involved all teh ppl i don like.

ahh..
my 2 fav teams.
simply cant pick a side to support.
but seeing how the match unfolds..
i find myself rooting for france.
they were clearly the better team
on the pitch that night.
brasil's performance was soo lacklustre
with only one shot on goal
barthez had an easy night.
france's defense was great.

what can i say..
OH MY GOD!

..of the carnival
had breakfast with lina at Mc.
and we were kinda late. hehe
but had a blast playing with the kids.
ok i'm supposed to collect tokens from the kids
who wanna play at the floaties.
then put on the band for them.
red was amazed
at my ability to talk to the kids.
why? i dunno.
anyways..
towards the end of the day..
we started playing the floaties ourselves.
running ard..
bouncing ard..
jumping ard..
just like one of the kids.
i shall have a floatie
in the premise of my house later.

after the carnival..
after much discussion..
we finally decided to have dinner
at al-ameen.
and we ordered like a lot of food la
so blardy full can.

took cab over to jurong east after that
and i walked home from there.

haha.. reached home, bathed
and waited for the repeat
of the qualifying session
followed by race day.
schumie qualified pole!!!
massa second
and fisi third.
soo happy for ferrari.
the actual race..
i kinda fell asleep.
but i watched the replay just now..
schummie WON!!!!!!!!!!
now he's just 19points behind.
still in the contention
to be the world champion.
