The one about Creative Vs Apple

quality wise, i believe it all depends on the mp3 itself. player is not of the problem.
design wise, apple looks nicer...n sleeker.. touch buttons.
function wise, iPod got its basic mp3 functions. no radio no recorder thou it can be turned into a pda. you gotta buy an additional software n you can make use of its calender n notez etc. just connect it to the computer. actually there's many add-ons for ipod. check out the webby.
popularity wise, think apple's still leading the market? haha..
convenience wise, you mentioned that with the zen you can simply cut n paste instead of having to to thru itunes? actually its the same with itunes. one way to transfer song is simply to open the songs in itunes (its a media player itself) n when you connect your ipod, it will automatically transfer all the songs into your ipod. either that or when your ipod is already connected to your comp, you open itunes n from wherever your music files is, you can just highlight n drag it into your ipod directly also. so not much difference there. thing bout itunes is that, you can create & name your own playlist, as many playlist as you want.
range of music files playable, should be about the same. again i'm not sure bout creative but with itunes, you can convert the format to mp3 or watever. like wma, its not a recognised format in the ipod so itunes will automatically convert it to mp3 or aac whichever format you've already set your itunes to.
durability wise, you guys know how i am with stuffs. my iPod's still working fine (albeit the scratches but thats a different story) after 2 yrs. so that's gotta count for something. hahaha
